Apex Contracting was selected by Greystar and CBRE to execute this high-impact renovation with precision, speed, and seamless collaboration.

Working alongside Studio10 Designs, our team reimagined key common areas to create vibrant, modern spaces that reflect the lifestyle and expectations of today’s renters. From concept through completion, every detail was executed with Apex’s trademark focus on value, timing, and long-term quality.

The Challenge Of Project

The Essex renovation required a multi-zone approach across active amenity spaces — including the leasing office, clubhouse, sky deck, fitness center, interior corridors, and exterior gathering areas. All work was performed in an occupied community, requiring tight coordination with property management and thoughtful scheduling to minimize disruption.

Design intent, functionality, and durability were top priorities. Apex leveraged our experience in live-occupancy renovations and referenced as-built documentation to ensure alignment across trades and phases. Timing was critical — and our team delivered.
